Check out the c.1958 Harmony Baritone Ukulele that I brought home from my Mom and Dad’s house this weekend. I remember this ukulele being around for as long as I can remember…and am more than likely responsible for a few of it’s scratches and dings. Lots of history, i.e. ‘mojo’ in this ukulele, which Dad bought in 1958 in a music store in Wichita, Kansas. So, by definition, a family heirloom. New strings, a bit of polish, other assorted TLC, and out comes a warm sound of baritone ukulele coolness.

Losing My Religion…not really…just a cool Mandolin tune
Bought a ‘The Loar’ LM-600-VS mandolin at Guitar House of Tulsa. Time to learn a new stringed instrument after 27 years of trying to learn the guitar. 
Here are some pics of the new ‘tiny guitar’ or ’strumming violin’ as some would call it…erroneously of course, but that’s beside the point.
